Donations to the Library
The Wood River Public Library is grateful for gifts, and its collection has been enriched by donations of material as well as contributions. Through donors, the library has been able to acquire material and provide events and activities which could not have been done otherwise. The library staff can supply, upon request, a list of needed materials for consideration by the donor.

Celebrate 100 years of Wood River Public Library with a new electric sign!
The Wood River Public Library offers a number of events and programs both educational and recreational for the community. Imagine a sign in front of the library that promotes children's activities, programs for adults, book sales, and special events. Imagine the value to the community.
As we approach our 100th anniversary, we are seeking donation to help bring this sign to reality. We are currently raising money to purchase a digital sign for the front parking lot. The cost is expected to be approximately $24,000.
Your donation is tax-deductible when the check is made out to Wood River Public Library. Please note "Digital Sign" on the memo line. Your check can be mailed or dropped off at the library (326 E. Ferguson Ave, Wood River, IL 62095). When you donate to this project you will see your contribution each time you drive down Ferguson Avenue.
