Get wild with the Wood River Pubic Library! Read on the Wild Side will feature wild animals, adventures and more! 

Log your reading in the Beanstack app and earn prizes and your invitation to the Finale Pool Party at the end of the summer. 

Weekly events will really enhance your experience. Don't miss out!

Kick Off Party

Join us on Thursday, June 1 from 5:00-7:00 as we Kick off the summer! 

This free event is family friendly and features, games, activities, crafts, food, and prizes. 

6:00 we will announce the Pie in the Face winner! 

This year the head of our city departments are going head
to head to see who will take a pie to the face! 

Remember the way this works, you donate to the team you
want to see get a pie in the face. Each dollar is like a "vote".

You can donate with cash or check inside the library or you
can donate online. Simply choose "donation" from the drop
down menu and put "Pie in the Face- [person's name]. 

This year we are raising money to get new furniture in the teen area, located on the second floor of the library.

10:00am-PreK (5 and younger)

2:00pm-Kindergarten-5th Grade


10:00am-Performers (all ages)
held at Wood River Round House (633 N Wood River Ave)

2:00pm- Teens (6th-12th grade)

9:30am- WeeJam (best for kids 5 and younger)
12:00pm- Movie Matinee (best for K-5th)
